Oil and Gas Policy Evaluation for Energy Security (2007)

This document responds to a resolution of the IOGCC approved unanimously at the 2006 Midyear Issues Summit. The resolution called for the creation of a policy document after an analysis of the nation’s energy situation, with potential solutions to identified problems.

This analysis took place over the summer of 2006 through a series of conferences sponsored by Congressional Quarterly in which the IOGCC participated. A team of experts identified by the IOGCC Steering Committee then developed the following policy document.
